POP ARTIST SPENCER SUTHERLAND RELEASES RAW & VULNERABLE SINGLE "HELP"

Pop artist SPENCER SUTHERLAND delivered another fresh, engaging track called “Help” that makes parts of your body move and feel the vibe of its music. It’s a soulful, catchy, and easy play of melodies showcasing Sutherland’s powerful yet versatile vocals. According to our recent interview with the artist, the song is probably one of the songs that resonates with him the most. To Sutherland, it is his “most personal song, most vulnerable song. The lyrics are the realest and rawest that I’ve ever written.”

(April 23, 2020) -- Los Angeles, CA -- Soulful alt pop singer and songwriter Spencer Sutherland has released his new song "Help" today in anticipation of his sophomore EP, expected later this year on BMG. The track originally was inspired by a personal experience he dealt with in summer of last year, Spencer admits that this very personal and honest song has now found a new meaning.

"I feel 'Help' is super relevant and it conveys the current sentiment and will really connect with listeners..." Spencer explained. "I believe people will relate with the emotions and lyrics as they are struggling with their own increased stress, anxiety and depression brought on by the feeling of isolation and uncertainty of the current global crisis."

In attempt to stay in touch with fans during the pandemic, Spencer will be going live with iHeartRadio today to answer fan questions on Instagram and talk about the new single. Tune in on Instagram today at 5pm EST. Spencer will also be performing at Elvis Duran's Stay at Home Ball alongside artists like Lewis Capaldi, Alec Benjamin, Charlie Puth, Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo, KESHA and more. His debut effort, NONE of this has been about you, a candid and diverse collection of songs highlighting his impressive vocal range, dropped in March, followed by a massive run of shows supporting Jack & Jack on the “Good Friends Are Nice Tour.” Shortly thereafter, Spencer launched “The Freaking Out Tour” over the summer, marking his first major headline run across North America and resulting in multiple sold out venues. To close out a successful year, Spencer played a series of iHeartRadio Jingle Ball holiday shows throughout the East Coast and midwestern U.S., sharing the stage with the likes of Lauv, Louis Tomlinson, MAX, Lennon Stella, Why Don’t We, Quinn XCII, and more.
