What’s your story? Who is Lizzy aside as a daughter and as a friend?
I'm 14 and I've been described as funny, fearless and friendly. I love sports and I'm very competitive. I never give up! I love my job and I have a very close, fun family.
How did acting start for you?
I started in a very intense and disciplined theatre program. My director instilled an incredible work ethic in all of us and I learned quickly if I work really hard and expect nothing, I will rise.
Do you remember your first ever audition? How was it?
I did a self-tape for a role and I remember being very interested in the camera that was filming me.
What inspires Lizzy Greene?
I love strong women and people that stand up for what they believe in. People that blaze their own trail and don't worry about what others think are very inspiring.
How would you describe your style?
My style is very current and trendy with my own twist. I'm not afraid to try new things that others may not wear. I like a feminine, whimsical, sporty look.
How was it to be nominated several times for Teen Choice Awards?
It was a total honor to be nominated in the same category as Zendaya and Dove Cameron. It felt great being so young and being recognized for my hard work.
Can you tell us more about your character Dawn harper from Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn?
Dawn is very confident and loves being with family and friends. She's not afraid to put herself out there and see what may happen. She always wants to have a good time.
How much do you think you relate to her?
We are so similar! As time went on, I realized I knew Dawn well and felt we had a lot in common. I just want to have fun with the people I love.
What do you look forward to in the next 5 years?
I would love to continue acting and exploring my comedic side. That is my strong suit. I would also love to do feature films and explore the drama genre as I mature.
Is there any actor that you dream to work with and why?
I love Jennifer Lawrence! She is so funny and doesn't worry about what others think. She can play any kind of role really well.
What do you think is your greatest achievement in your career so far?
My biggest accomplishment is being on a #1 show and completing 4 seasons with 84 episodes. We had the best cast and crew. It truly was a joy to be Dawn on NRDD.
If you are not filming, what else keeps you busy?
School, friends, family and staying active with things such as running and boxing really keep me busy when I'm not on set.
How do you balance your time?
I always strive to be early and plan ahead. Being prepared is key because time is money, and you never want to hold up production. Understand that your job is just a piece of the puzzle and you should respect others' jobs as well. Everyone is replaceable and there are thousands of people who would love to be in your position.
A dream role that you wanna play? Dream project?
I would love to be the female "007" of a movie series!
Top 3 songs in your playlist right now.
Havana - Camilla Cabello, Thinking About You - Frank Ocean, Butterfly Effect - Travis Scott
As a very young actress in the industry, how do you keep being a positive influence to all of your fans?
Always be true to yourself, be kind to others, and don't be afraid to be different.
Any upcoming and exciting project for to get your fans excited?
I recently starred in a Christmas movie called "Tiny Christmas”. Filming was so fun, and it’s out in time for the holidays!
Any advice you can give to any aspiring actors / artists out there?
Don't ever assume anything, make it all about your work and do your best because there are many other people that can take your place. Don't worry about what others are doing or working on. Focus on your work and don't compare yourself to anyone.
If you’re a book, what type of book would you be and why?
I would be a mystery novel with a lot of cliffhangers and suspense.
If you had the chance and opportunity to help a specific charity, what would it be and why?
I would love to work with the Red Cross. They've helped so much with all of the natural disasters and tragedies we've seen around the world.
Catch Lizzy as Sophie on A Million Little Things on ABC.
