Starring in this special collector’s issue is the big bad villain of the TV show Shadow Hunters- Luke Baines. Luke played the complex character of the part-demon, part-angel, part-human Jonathan Morgenstern. He also played Jesus in Under The Silver Lake alongside Andrew Garfield and Riley Keough.

A quick glance at the actor could easily intimidate you- sharp jawline, glowing alabaster skin, high cheekbones and a seemingly perfected brooding face; but once he starts talking, you’ll realize how ridiculously different he is from the characters he played. There is an air of ease when you’re around him. He makes everybody’s work easier whether he is doing a photoshoot or an interview. You can tell his sensitivity to the people around him by being focused and delivering on-point and that is very evident in his work ethics as well. In taking complex, layered characters, a heavy amount of research and character study is a requirement and Luke is an actor who does both.

Aside form acting he is also heavily involved with his charity works. He is actively doing charity work for Oxfam and he is in fact off to another country to do charity work the day after our interview. We love a person who walks the talk and Baines is someone who uses his platform and influence in a positive way.
